ABERDEEN (AP) — A member of a water-ski performance team was injured when a trick went wrong on Aberdeen's Dahme Lake.

Todd Thorson was taken to hospital at Aberdeen, but another member of the Aqua Addicts team said he didn't think Thorson was seriously injured. A hospital nursing supervisor would not disclose his condition.

The trick involved two skiiers jumping on a ramp while another two skiiers crossed underneath them. Aqua Addicts member Jim Appl says the timing was off and the two skiiers who were crossing ran into each other.

The media reports that Thorson didn't lose consciousness, and he was able to pull himself into the boat after the Thursday incident.

The rest of the water show was canceled.
