GREEN BAY, Wis. — Shopko is partnering with the Salvation Army to launch its annual “Tools for School” campaign.

This year, school supplies will be collected at approximately 160 Shopko locations from July 15 through Aug. 10. All current Shopko and Shopko Hometown stores will participate in the event, including the Mitchell store. The “Tools for School” program provides school supplies to low income children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Beginning Aug. 13, school supplies are distributed by the Salvation Army based on community donations and are available while supplies last. Children are provided a pre-packaged bag of school supplies and each family is provided with one new backpack.
