Strange ‘deposit’ left at Wells Fargo Bank

Mitchell police said a Wells Fargo employee reported finding a marijuana cigarette on the floor of the Lawler Street bank around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Mitchell police said a Wells Fargo employee reported finding a marijuana cigarette on the floor of the Lawler Street bank around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The police were notified. Sgt. Ryan Erickson theorized that a bank patron, while waiting on the teller line, was digging through his or her pockets and dropped the joint. There have been no inquiries about the missing doobie, said Erickson, who added, “and I don’t think we’ll be getting any.”
