MILLTOWN — Authorities confirmed Monday they responded to a report of a possible rape near Milltown early Monday morning.
The Daily Republic received a tip about the possible crime.
The Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there was a possible rape the office responded to Monday but said the state Division of Criminal Investigation is handling the matter.
Multiple attempts to gain further information from the DCI’s spokeswoman Monday were unsuccessful.
