Girls State chooses SD representatives
Dana Kaufman, Freeman, was one of two delegates chosen to represent South Dakota at the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation in Washington, D.C.
Dana Kaufman, Freeman, was one of two delegates chosen to represent South Dakota at the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation in Washington, D.C.
Cara Beck, Mitchell, was chosen as alternate for this honor during the 66th annual Girls State held recently on the campus of the University of South Dakota, Vermillion.
Other area girls elected to office:
Rachell Moore, Artesian, elected secretary of state; Lindsey Raker and Audrey Gall, Scotland, elected to Public Utilities Commission.
