A Mitchell man was arrested July 2 after Mitchell police found evidence of methamphetamine in his residence.

Scott Will Sr., 58, faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine after Mitchell police allegedly found a straw with meth residue on it in his bedroom inside Will’s residence at 900 W. Second St. Police also found a pipe “that appeared to be similar to pipes used to smoke meth,” court documents say.

Will is charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
