Missing Houghton man found dead after motorcycle crash

HOUGHTON (AP) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Houghton man who had been reported missing and later was found dead was involved in a motorcycle crash.

HOUGHTON (AP) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Houghton man who had been reported missing and later was found dead was involved in a motorcycle crash.

Authorities say 60-year-old Gregory Freeland's motorcycle rolled in the ditch on state Highway 10 east of Houghton sometime Wednesday. The media that the exact cause of Freeland's death was not immediately determined.

Freeland's family reported him missing on Thursday after his employer said he did not show up for work.
