No garbage pickup on Fourth of July

Due to the city of Mitchell’s observance of Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4, there will be no garbage collection on that day.

Due to the city of Mitchell’s observance of Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4, there will be no garbage collection on that day.

Garbage will be collected Thursday through Saturday, July 5-7. If your normal garbage collection day is Wednesday through Friday during this week, your garbage will be collected one day later than normal. Dependable Recycling will follow the same schedule. The regional landfill will be closed on Wednesday, July 4. The compost site located at 1405 W. Eighth Ave. will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. on July 4.
