To the Editor:

Your community has a hospital it can truly be proud of.

Our family recently experienced this outstanding level of care at Avera Queen of Peace with a recent emergency surgery for our wife and mother. Dr. Baas, Dr. Malters and the support staff of nurses, aides, therapists and techs were a tremendous blessing to our family.

Everyone was kind, compassionate, helpful and skilled in their areas of expertise. Their fine care helped her heal quickly and be back in the comforts of her own home in a short time.

Mitchell can truly be proud of the people that work at the Queen of Peace Hospital and the fine facility they have to work at.
