Mitchell man arrested in stabbing pleads not guilty

A 22-year-old man accused of stabbing another man in the arm during an altercation at a Mitchell home pleaded not guilty Tuesday.

A 22-year-old man accused of stabbing another man in the arm during an altercation at a Mitchell home pleaded not guilty Tuesday.

Jacob Dillon Stulken was arrested May 31 and charged with aggravated assault. Stulken’s alleged 19-year-old victim received a non-life-threatening stab wound as a result of the incident. The victim’s name has not been released.

Stulken faces a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine if convicted. He remains in jail with bond set at $5,000.

The case will be scheduled at a hearing in July.
