Rapid City woman pleads guilty to bank embezzlement

RAPID CITY (AP) — A Rapid City woman faces up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to bank embezzlement.

Nineteen-year-old Jessica Frease was accused of stealing checks from mailboxes last December and January and cashing them at a local bank where she worked.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 29.
