YANKTON (AP) — A 13-year-old boy is accused of attacking a counselor with a pocket knife at a Scout camp near Yankton.
YANKTON (AP) — A 13-year-old boy is accused of attacking a counselor with a pocket knife at a Scout camp near Yankton.
The Yankton County Sheriff's Office tells the media that the Madison boy cut the 47-year-old counselor's face and chest when the counselor questioned him about anger issues. The counselor was treated at the camp and did not require a trip to the hospital.
The incident happened early Tuesday at the Lewis and Clark Scout Camp west of Yankton. The boy was arrested for aggravated assault and later released into the custody of a guardian.
