Authorities investigating daycare death
Infant died at rural Davison County home.
Law enforcement officials are investigating the Tuesday death of an infant at a home daycare in rural Davison County, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the South Dakota Attorney General's Office.
The Davison County Sheriff's Office was called to the home, according to the release. The age of the infant and the time of the call were not disclosed.
The Davison County Sheriff's Office, the Mitchell Police Department and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating the matter.
No further details were provided as of Wednesday evening.
