DEADWOOD (AP) — A South Dakota man who won nearly a quarter of a million dollars at a Deadwood casino doesn't have any particular plans for how he and his wife will use the money.

DEADWOOD (AP) — A South Dakota man who won nearly a quarter of a million dollars at a Deadwood casino doesn't have any particular plans for how he and his wife will use the money.

Joseph and Eleanor Tomac of Keldron tell the media that they will use the $228,979 that Joseph won at the slot machines at Tin Lizzie Casino on Sunday to give themselves a financial cushion in their retirement and something to leave their five children.

Joseph Tomac says he's just thankful to be "one of the lucky ones."
