VIBORG (AP) — City officials in Viborg are asking residents to conserve water for fear that the town may run out soon.
A city official tells the media that 123,000 gallons of water have been used in the last 24 hours. That's double the amount typically used in a normal day. Officials say the town of less than 800 people could run out of water by Tuesday night.
Maintenance crews are investigating whether a water leak is to blame for the high usage amount.
