“The first game we executed everything well and we had some really nice squeeze runs and other things that got us runs on the board,” he said.

“In the second game, we let missed opportunities take the wind out of our sails instead of getting right back at it. We just got really deflated.”

Mitchell’s record is now 9-7 and is back in action today when it takes on Brandon Valley at 3 p.m. Brandon Valley will then play Pierre at 5 p.m. and Mitchell will face off against Pierre at 7 p.m. All games will be held at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.
