Fulton to celebrate 125th anniversary

Fulton will celebrate its 125th anniversary June 30.
Fulton State Bank will sponsor a lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
There will be a parade at 1 p.m. with Doc Soladay as the grand marshal. He is celebrating his 90th birthday in June and is a lifelong resident of Fulton. Cake for the event is sponsored by Con Brio Studio and the Soladay family.
A storytelling/talent show and games for kids will take place at 1 p.m. Inflatable games will be sponsored by Fulton Farmers Elevator.
Xcel Energy, Addy Disposal, Ponderosa Trailer Court and Hoffmann Insurance of Alexandria are also sponsoring the event.
