Mitchell teen ordered to serve 35 days in jail for drug charges

A 19-year-old Mitchell man was sentenced Tuesday to 35 days in jail and put on probation for two years for multiple drug charges.

A 19-year-old Mitchell man was sentenced Tuesday to 35 days in jail and put on probation for two years for multiple drug charges.

Trevor Jacob Kohlrus was also fined a total of $500, ordered to enroll in the state 24/7 Sobriety program and is required to submit to weekly drug tests after he pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana. A 50-day jail sentence was reduced after Kohlrus was given credit for 15 days served.
