LETTER: Vote conservative, vote Stace Nelson

To the Editor:

My name is Peggy Wubben, Spencer. I am writing on behalf of Stace Nelson, who is running for District 19 House of Representatives. I had the honor and privilege of meeting Stace two years ago, when he first ran for office.

Stace was born in Sioux Falls. He grew up in the Mitchell and Salem areas and he joined the Marine Corps in 1985. He served in the Marine Corps 13 years and then joined the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) for a total of almost 24 years of service.

When I think of the Marine Corps, I think of high moral standards, integrity and pride of one’s service for their country, community, etc. Stace has shown these qualities to be a part of himself, and he expects these high standards to be demonstrated by the other individuals who serve in Pierre.

Stace is conservative and passionate about what he does. He is not afraid to stand up for what is right. He says, “I’m a conservative. I’m not just a picture conservative. I’m a walking, talking, conservative.”

I strongly feel that Stace is a good person who would serve District 19 well. Please be sure to vote on Tuesday.
