Bags printed and donated by our local Coborn’s store were distributed before Saturday in the mailboxes. Public announcements on the radio and in The Daily Republic reminded everyone of the food drive. Carriers spent all day picking up bags, while volunteers at the post office sorted the food, weighed it and delivered the food to The Salvation Army.
It takes the entire community cooperation to make this drive a success. Good job, Mitchell.
