GLAD YOU ASKED: Second, Third and Fourth avenues not only one-ways

Q. It’s been said that Second, Third and Fourth avenues are the only one-way streets in town. Is that true?

A. No. According to city of Mitchell traffic specialist Dick Figland, approximately one block of Mitchell Boulevard located northwest of Dakota Wesleyan University is one-way only, as are the alleys off Main Street between Second Street and Sixth Street on the west side, and between First Street and Sixth Street on the east side.
