Sixteen students graduated from Ethan High School on Sunday, May 13. The 2012 graduating class is as follows: Ashley Bame, Ryan Hanks, Brandon Hughes, Kendall Lindeman, Zach Martish, Chase McBrayer, Cody McBrayer, Shelby McBrayer, Robbie Miiller, Alexis Neugebauer, Kyle Pollreisz, Brianna Schlaffman, Skylar Shade, Brittany Tilberg, Shelly Tilberg, and Kaci Tuttle.
The following eighth grade students were also recognized on Sunday: Lance Bruske, Kendra Klumb, McKenzie Kotrba, Kaycee McGuire, Camden Myers, Andrew Neugebauer, Jayden Reiser-Millard, Ethan Riggs, Rylee Riggs, Brenna Roth, Chelsea Schleuning, Maddison Stirling, Brianne Storm and Tate Thompson.
Plans are under way for the 2012 Ethan All School Reunion. The reunion will be held in June.
Following is a list of reunion events: Friday, June 1: street dance featuring the Rude Band; Saturday, June 2: 8:30 a.m., parade registration, theme is “Wonderful World of Disney”; 10 a.m. parade; following the parade there will be food and lawn games at the park; 11 a.m., kids’ pedal pull; 1 p.m., firefighters’ water fight; 5 p.m., banquet at the school, open house and visitation followed by the banquet.

If you would like to take insurance out on your house to keep the flamingos off your lawn, the cost is $15 and can be mailed to Ethan Pride and Betterment, P.O. Box 214, Ethan, S.D. or give to any P&B member. If the flamingos flock on your lawn, the cost of removing the flamingos is $10. If you would like to send the flock of flamingos to a friend’s house, you can do so by donating an additional $5. Out of town residents, don’t assume your lawn is safe. The flamingos have been known to roam the countryside!
