SIOUX FALLS (AP) — A man suspected of stealing more than $4,000 worth of walkie-talkies, computer monitors and other electronics from Raven Industries while working there last summer has been indicted on one count of grand theft.
According to media reports, a grand jury indicted 35-year-old Yillkin Salvador of Sioux Falls this week after hearing testimony from a Sioux Falls Police Detective and two Raven employees.
Court documents show that Raven was notified of suspicious activity by a First National Pawn Employee last August when several items appeared in the store bearing a company stamp. The company already had begun an internal investigation.
Grand theft is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
