SIOUX FALLS (AP) — The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department has arrested one man and is looking for another after a large meth bust near a city park.
According to media reports, the incident happened at an apartment across the street from Meldrum Park. Forty-one-year-old Richard Egan was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance near a drug-free zone, concealing an escaped prisoner and possession of less than two ounces of marijuana and paraphernalia.
The Sheriff's Department says they are looking for a 42-year-old Bobby Hendrix.
Captain Paul Niedringhaus says officers apprehended Hendrix but he escaped. Niedringhaus says a task force has been looking for Hendrix because he hasn't checked in with his parole officer.
