Philip student wins $20,000 Coca Cola scholarship
Sayde Slovek, a senior at Philip High School has been recognized as one of the country’s most outstanding high school seniors by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and has been awarded at $20,000 scholarship for college.

Slovek joined 252 high school seniors at the Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend April 12-15 in Atlanta, Ga., to compete for 52 national scholarships of $20,000 and 200 regional scholarships of $10,000.
The weekend included a banquet with a keynote address by actor Morgan Freeman.
