Indian village offers Boy Scout badge programs

The Mitchell Prehistoric Indian Village now offers Boy Scout merit badge programs in archaeology.

The Mitchell Prehistoric Indian Village now offers Boy Scout merit badge programs in archaeology.

Staff members have become certified merit badge counselors for these programs. Boy Scouts will enjoy an afternoon of learning the basics of archaeology, and then they will get to “camp out” at the Indian village, eat pizza and watch a movie. The following morning, they will eat breakfast and receive their badge certificates.
