Solberg named school geography bee winner
Ryan Solberg, an eighth-grader at Mitchell Middle School, has won the school level competition in the National Geographic Bee, which is the first round in the 24th annual National Geographic Bee.
Ryan Solberg, an eighth-grader at Mitchell Middle School, has won the school level competition in the National Geographic Bee, which is the first round in the 24th annual National Geographic Bee.
He has taken the written qualifying test and is a state qualifier. The state competition will be held on the campus of South Dakota State University, Brookings.
The national competition will be held on May 22-24 in Washington, D.C.
