Mobridge teen arrested for DUI in Mitchell

A 19-year-old Mobridge man was arrested April 20 after allegedly driving drunk through a construction area in Mitchell.
Dillon Dean Ducheneaux was arrested after a state Highway Patrol trooper allegedly saw him driving in the closed lanes of the construction zone on Havens Street near its intersection with Main Street at 2:02 a.m.
According to a police report, Ducheneaux was driving “in a manner likely to endanger persons or property” and collided with several traffic posts and barrels.
The report states Ducheneaux was arrested after he failed a number of field sobriety tests. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.207.
The legal limit for driving in South Dakota is 0.08.
He is scheduled to appear in court in May.
