Ribbon cutting to be held May 12 for Frank’s Bay Fishing Pier

The Lake Mitchell Advisory Committee will host a ribbon cutting and dedication of the Frank’s Bay Fishing Pier at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12.

The Lake Mitchell Advisory Committee will host a ribbon cutting and dedication of the Frank’s Bay Fishing Pier at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12. The committee invites all those involved with the project, Adopt an Access Area Program volunteers and the general public to attend.

Immediately following the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony, a Lake Mitchell cleanup will take place. It is requested that all participants of the Adopt an Access Area program please make plans to spruce up their access area on May 12. Additional projects will be coordinated by the Lake Mitchell Advisory Committee based upon volunteer turnout. Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, pruning shears and rakes.
