LETTER: Consider reinstating polka festival, inviting RFD-TV

We had heard for years how great it was. We were not disappointed and cannot believe that you would cancel this event.

To the Editor:

Hello from Wisconsin: Yes, there are a lot of polka dancers out here.

Last year, we came on a bus from Wisconsin to dance at the Palace. We were thrilled as we had heard for years how great it was. We were not disappointed and cannot believe that you would cancel this event.

The Corn Palace is a huge draw for your area and the polka dancers are proud to help support it, and it must create a lot of revenue for the other shops as we certainly did our share.

Please reconsider canceling the event. You might even want to consider having RFD-TV’s Molly B record there.
