LETTER: There are still a lot of polka dancers out there

I have been attending the Corn Palace Polka Festival for almost 30 years. It is absolutely one of the best polka festivals in the country.

I have been attending the Corn Palace Polka Festival for almost 30 years. It is absolutely one of the best polka festivals in the country. They have always had top-notch bands and I have made lifetime friends with a lot of the people in Mitchell. I stay in Mitchell motels, eat in Mitchell restaurants, shop at Walmart and Cabela’s every year.

There are still a lot of polka dancers out there, and I wish they would reconsider the decision to end the Corn Palace Festival.
