A Mitchell woman is charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing and cutting her sister’s boyfriend during an argument April 1.
Patricia May Little Hoop, 31, faces a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine if convicted of assaulting Christopher Kennedy with a small knife during an argument at a residence in Mitchell.
According to court documents, the alleged assault occurred during an argument between Little Hoop and Kennedy, which escalated until Little Hoop allegedly punched and stabbed at Kennedy with a small knife.
Kennedy suffered a 3-inch cut on his left forearm and a puncture wound to his left thigh as a result of the attack, court documents state.
She is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
