SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Many Sioux Falls voters are happy with a new network of "voting centers" that gives them more choices for casting their ballots.
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Many Sioux Falls voters are happy with a new network of "voting centers" that gives them more choices for casting their ballots.
During Tuesday's municipal elections, city residents could vote at any one of 12 voting centers located throughout the city — no matter where they lived.
Normally Sioux Falls residents have to vote at their neighborhood voting precinct. Tuesday's election consolidated the 59 precinct locations in favor of the voting centers.
Sioux Falls residents told the media that the voting centers made it easier to vote on the way to work, or while running errands.
Evan Hetland says he voted at Garfield Elementary because it was near his route to work.
