OACOMA — The Chamberlain/Oacoma Sun and Cedar Shore Resort Taste of Home Cooking Show organizers recently announced culinary specialist Guy Klinzing as a headliner for the show.
Klinzing will conduct the Taste of Home Cooking Show set for Saturday, May 5, at Cedar Shore Resort at Oacoma.
“My favorite dishes are still the ones that my grandmother and mother taught me to prepare as part of our own family tradition,” he said. “Good food served at home not only feeds the family but also feeds the soul.”
Klinzing holds a bachelor’s degree in performing arts from Northeastern University and an MBA from Dominican University. He has worked in the snack food and chocolate industry for more than 34 years. During his long career with a major candy company, he not only built and managed large candy production facilities, but also served as a corporate media spokesman in the Midwest.
General admission tickets for the Taste of Home Cooking Show are $10 and are available at the Chamberlain/Oacoma Sun office, Cedar Shore Resort, Al’s Oasis, BankWest-Kennebec and the Lyman County Herald.
Doors open to the vendor area at 11 a.m., and the cooking show starts at 2 pm.
Attendees are encouraged to come early, secure their seat, and then see the vendor area prior to the show.
