SDSU hosting Jackrabbit Stampede starting Thursday

BROOKINGS (AP) — South Dakota State University is hosting the annual Jackrabbit Stampede this week.

BROOKINGS (AP) — South Dakota State University is hosting the annual Jackrabbit Stampede this week.

About 250 participants from 13 schools in the Great Plains region will take part in the rodeo events that start Thursday and last through Sunday.

The Jackrabbit Stampede is called a double-header rodeo with two, two-day contests happening back to back. The competition starts at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Swiftel Center.
