LETTER: Jill Young fills us with pride

To the Editor: Traditionally, the Pride of the Dakotas has referred to the South Dakota State University marching band. We can now also identify a marvelous young lady with that exact same term — “Pride of the Dakotas” — Jill Young.

To the Editor:

Traditionally, the Pride of the Dakotas has referred to the South Dakota State University marching band. We can now also identify a marvelous young lady with that exact same term — “Pride of the Dakotas” — Jill Young.

Pride for herself, pride for the Young family, pride for Mitchell Christian School, pride for South Dakota State University, pride for Mitchell and pride for South Dakota. A quality person as well as a quality athlete, it has been prideful watching Jill grow and mature.

All of us extend to her our congratulations for a job well done.
