Women arrested for driving 99 mph with revoked license
MOUNT VERNON — A 20-year-old Rapid City woman was arrested March 28 after allegedly driving 24 mph over the speed limit on Interstate 90 near Mount Vernon and with a driver’s license was revoked.

Carola Bauer was arrested after a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper clocked her driving 99 mph westbound on I-90 near mile marker 319, south of Mount Vernon.
Bauer told the trooper she did not have a driver’s license, and a check later revealed her license was revoked, court documents state.
Driving with a revoked license is a misdemeanor punishable with one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
