Drug-related items found in local home

The Mitchell Police Division conducted a search last month of a residence in Mitchell and found marijuana, pills and a trove of drug paraphernalia.

Police executed the search warrant March 15 on a 17-yearold suspect who resides at a home in Mitchell, which was searched along with the suspect’s vehicle and cell phone.

Among the items found were two plastic baggies containing marijuana, another two baggies containing pills, several jars with drug residue, a digital scale with drug residue and numerous pipes with drug residue.

Mitchell Police Detective Lt. Don Everson said he could not comment on the case due to its juvenile suspect.
