The Daily Republic wins most first-place awards in AP contest
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — The Daily Republic, of Mitchell, SD, brought home six first-place awards to lead the medium-sized newspapers in the 2012 Great Plains News and Photo Contest.
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — The Daily Republic, of Mitchell, SD, brought home six first-place awards to lead the medium-sized newspapers in the 2012 Great Plains News and Photo Contest.
The Fremont, Neb., Tribune won five categories and The Yankton, SD, Daily Press & Dakotan and the Jamestown, ND, Sun, each took home two top award.
The contest was open to 40 AP-member newspapers in three size categories covering the states of North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.
