Commissioners will hear layout options on coop building Tuesday
The Davison County Commission will get some layout options from local design and engineering experts on Tuesday when they again tackle the issue of remodeling the offices of the Central Electric Cooperative building. The building’s space will be shared by the commissioners and the county nurses once the co-op moves out this summer.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Room at the courthouse, 200 E. Fourth Ave., Mitchell.
Scheduled to be present Tuesday are Mark Puetz, of Puetz Corporation, Bob Everson, of Roby Quintal and Everson Consulting Engineers, and Community Health Nurse Natalie Van Drongelen.
The commissioners have signed no agreements to date for renovation or design services. They anticipate learning more about those costs on Tuesday.
The agenda includes:
• 9 a.m. Call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, approval of minutes, citizen input
• 9:30 a.m. Director of Equalization Kathy Goetsch will give a presentation on the equalization appeals process.
• 10:30 a.m. Angie Evans regarding a temporary liquor license for Redneck Days.
• 10:45 am. Puetz, Everson and Community Health Nurse Natalie Van Drongelen regarding Central Electric remodeling.
• 11:45 a.m. Emergency Management Director Jim Montgomery regarding a state supplement and information from the state Department of Transportation.
• 11:50 a.m. Miscellaneous items, approval of timesheets, bills for payment and tax abatements.
