Allen man gets prison for sex abuse of 14-year-old

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Authorities say an Allen man has been sentenced to seven months in prison for sexual abuse of a minor.

U.S. Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced Thursday that 20-year-old Brandon Sitting Bear also will be on supervised release for five years following imprisonment.

Authorities say Sitting Bear pleaded guilty to the charge in December. He was accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl.
