HURON (AP) — A new trial date has been scheduled for a Huron bar owner accused of serving a 12-year-old and two 14-year-olds alcohol and raping them.

Thirty-five-year-old Werner Fajardo is charged with six counts of rape and several counts of providing alcohol to minors at his El Cuervo bar in Huron. He’s pleaded not guilty.

Fajardo had been scheduled to go to trial on the rape charges on Wednesday. But the trial was pushed back when he was appointed a new lawyer.

A judge on Tuesday rescheduled the trial for May 16. A motions hearing will be held April 24.
