WOUNDED KNEE (AP) — A head-on crash near Wounded Knee over the weekend killed two men and a woman.

Oglala Sioux Police Chief Rich Greenwald tells the media that the crash happened about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on a Bureau of Indian Affairs highway south of Wounded Knee.
He identified the victims as 21-year-old Anita Shangreaux, of Pine Ridge; 20-year-old David Cuny Jr., of Manderson; and 37-year-old Micheal Jealous of Him, of Oglala. A fourth person suffered unspecified injuries.
The BIA is investigating.
