Driver’s education registration to start Wednesday at MHS

Mitchell High School will conduct driver’s education registration at 7 a.m. Wednesday in the MHS lobby.

Mitchell High School will conduct driver’s education registration for currently registered Mitchell School District students at 7 a.m. Wednesday in the MHS lobby.

Non-Mitchell School District students may register starting at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the MHS office

Students need to be age 14 or older by Oct. 1 to participate. Cost for 30 hours of theory (classroom) and six hours of driving experience is $275, payable at registration.

Cash or checks will be accepted — credit/debit cards cannot be used as payment.

Two theory classes will be conducted June 4-15 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. All driving experiences will be conducted during June and July. Early registrations will not be taken.
