BHSU gets $1 million pledge
SPEARFISH (AP) — The Elaine and Joe Floyd Scholarship at Black Hills State University will receive a $1 million endowment.
SPEARFISH (AP) — The Elaine and Joe Floyd Scholarship at Black Hills State University will receive a $1 million endowment.
Black Hills State University alumna and former employee Elaine Floyd and her husband, Joe, have made a pledge to shore up the scholarship fund named after them.
University President Kay Schallenkamp says the money will give full tuition and fees support to four students for four years as they earn their bachelor's degree at the university.
The couple donated $250,000 to establish the scholarship at the school.
