Miller woman pleads guilty to bank embezzlment

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — A South Dakota woman accused of bank embezzlement and money laundering has changed her plea to guilty.
Fifty-two-year-old Susan Mareska of Miller faces up to 30 years in federal prison and a $1 million fine when she is sentenced May 7.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Mareska defrauded American Bank and Trust of Miller between January 2003 and September 2008 while she was employed there.
