The Warriors (20-4) scored 31 points in the fourth quarter to come from four points down to beat the defending state champion going away.
Washington had a 19-4 advantage in bench scoring and a 24-10 edge in inside scoring.
Hanson had a game-high 12 rebounds and three assists.
Heidi Hoff scored 21 points and Allison Koehn added 14 for the Lynx (17-8).
Aberdeen Central beats RC Central
BROOKINGS (AP) — Brynn Flakus had a double-double to lead Aberdeen Central past Rapid City Central 47-34 in a consolation game at the South Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament on Friday.
Flakus posted game highs of 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (17-8), whose 20 offensive rebounds helped them to take 21 more shots than Rapid City Central (11-14). Both teams shot 33 percent.
Grace Weeks led the Cobblers with 13 points and six rebounds. She made five of seven shots from the field.
SF O’Gorman beats RC Stevens
BROOKINGS (AP) — Tori Langin had 12 points and Chandler Nielsen added 10 as Sioux Falls O’Gorman beat Rapid City Stevens 37-29 in the consolation round of the South Dakota girls Class AA basketball tournament on Friday.
The Knights (14-10) shot just 27 percent from the field. But they held Rapid City Stevens (13-11) to just nine field goals and 25 percent shooting.
Cheyenne Quinn had nine points and Alexis Kruse eight for the Raiders.
Sisseton downs Vermillion 49-37
SPEARFISH (AP) — Jordyn Kirk had a game-high 13 points and eight rebounds as Sisseton defeated Vermillion 49-37 Friday in the consolation bracket of the South Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
Kirk was 5-for-7 from the line, helping the Redmen (22-3) to an 18-for-22 showing.
Danni Frederick had nine points, all from 3-point range.
Kelly Amundson and Val Robinson led Vermillion (18-6) with 11 points apiece.
The Tanagers shot just 33 percent from the field.
Pine Ridge rallies to beat CWL 61-52
SPEARFISH (AP) — Anissa Martin had five 3-pointers and 21 points to lead Pine Ridge to a 61-52 come-from-behind win over Clark-Willow Lake Friday in the consolation round of the South Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
Martin was 5-for-10 on 3-point shots and 6-for-13 overall for the Thorpes (18-6).
Both teams shot 19-for-49 from the field. The difference was 3-pointers. Pine Ridge made seven of 21 threes and Clark-Willow Lake (19-5) hit just two of 10 attempts.
Brook Pond had 14 points and Santana White Dress added 13 for Pine Ridge.
Chynna Stevens had 22 points and 14 rebounds for the Cyclones. Mackenzie Huber chipped in 12 points.
St. Thomas More downs ELB 47-41
SPEARFISH (AP) — Caitlin Duffy’s all-around game carried St. Thomas More past Elkton-Lake Benton 47-41 Friday in the semifinals of the South Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
Duffy led the Cavaliers (23-2) with 17 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. She also went 10-for-12 from the free throw line and hit a 3-pointer.
St. Thomas More went 20-for-24 from the line, while Elkton-Lake Benton (21-4) shot just four free throws and made all four.
Alexys Swedlund had 13 points for the Cavaliers.
Cassidy Gebhart scored 17 points and Rebecca Jurgens 11 for the Elks.
Elkton-Lake Benton struggled from the field, shooting just 28 percent.
Estelline beats Edgemont 61-32
HURON (AP) — Estelline outscored Edgemont 52-17 over the last three quarters and coasted to a 61-32 consolation win over Edgemont Friday at the South Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament.
Mikayla Saathoff had 16 points, six rebounds and eight assists for the Lady Redmen (20-4), who trailed 15-9 after the first quarter. She was joined in double figures by Erin Begalka with 13 points and Megan Taylor with 11.
Estelline was 16-for-26 from the line, while Edgemont (18-6) went 0-for-3.
Lacy Stevens paced the Moguls with 16 points and eight steals.
Sully Buttes beats Faith at Class B
HURON (AP) — Sully Buttes posted a 54-30 semifinal victory over Faith on Friday at the South Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament.
Taryn Colson led the way for the Chargers (23-2) with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Karlea Stahl added 12 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Sully Buttes shot 54.5 percent from the field and held Faith to 32 percent. The Chargers outrebounded the Longhorns 26-21
Faith (21-4) got nine points from Shania Johnston.
