Summit downs Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 48-32 in Class B semifinals

HURON (AP) — Logan O'Farrell and Presley O'Farrell scored 15 points apiece to lead Summit to a 48-32 win over Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Friday in the semifinals of the South Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament.

Logan O'Farrell was 6-for-13 from the field and made two 3-pointers for the Eagles (23-2). Presley O'Farrell made five of 10 shots from the field and five of seven free throws. She also led the team with six rebounds.

Summit outrebounded Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 35-17, leading to an 11-0 advantage in second-chance points.

Rachel Selland and Shelby Selland paced Sanborn Central-Woonsocket (22-3) with seven points each.
