Search under way for missing parolee in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Authorities in the Sioux Falls area are searching for a parolee who went missing from a community transition program.

Corrections officials say Justin McCormack walked away from a minimum-security facility on the State Penitentiary campus at about 6 a.m. Friday.

The convicted burglar out of Brown County was taking part in programming designed to help him transition from prison back to society.
