LifeQuest received an anonymous $10,000 pledge to challenge local donors to support the 2012 annual fundraising campaign, the organization announced Thursday.
Every new or increased gift that LifeQuest receives will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to the first $10,000 received, until April 16.
“We’re grateful and humbled by this gift,” said LifeQuest’s Executive Director Daryl Kilstrom. “This gift will help raise needed funds that will go toward people with disabilities right here in Mitchell.”
Last year, LifeQuest raised close to $150,000 for the overall campaign, Kilstrom said.
“We’d certainly like to match that again this year,” he said.
To support LifeQuest’s annual campaign, call 990-7835 or send a gift to LifeQuest, 804 N. Mentzer St., Mitchell, SD, 57301.
LifeQuest is a nonprofit organization that provides services to people with developmental disabilities.
